How the plan works
Your plan follows your billing period: how many articles you get, how they're spaced, approving a plan and writing articles early.
The Plan page (Content → Plan) is a calendar of the articles RankHabit will write, one keyword each. It has two tabs: Calendar (a month grid or a list) and Keywords.
Your plan follows your billing period
Articles are counted per billing period, not per calendar month. A period runs from the day your subscription renews to the day before the next renewal, and the app names it by its dates. Without a subscription, the period starts on the day of the month your workspace was created.
- Starter: 15 articles per billing period.
- Growth: 30 articles per billing period.
- Agency: 30 articles per billing period.
- Free trial: 1 article in total. It doesn't renew.
Yearly plans still get their articles every month: the count resets each month from the day your year started.
How articles are spaced
Articles are spread evenly over the days left in the period, never two on one day and never in the past. Anything that doesn't fit rolls into the next period.
Article settings → Publishing → Articles a week (1 to 7) sets the fastest pace. Planned days move to fit when you change it.
Approving a plan
On paid plans, RankHabit plans the next billing period 5 days before the current one ends. That plan waits for you: nothing in it is written until you press Approve plan (on the Plan page, or Approve in the “Approve your month” row on Overview).
Until then, buttons that would write one of its articles are grey with “Approve the plan first.” Approving spaces those articles out from their first day. Once approved, a plan keeps its days; only articles whose day passed without being written move to the next free days.
When articles are written
With Write on a schedule on (Article settings → Publishing), RankHabit writes planned articles shortly before their day. Turn it off and nothing is written until you click.
- Generate next article (Plan page) writes your next planned article now.
- Write this week's articles (Overview → Quick actions) writes the planned articles of the next 7 days.
- Generate now on any planned article writes just that one.
- Plan followed by the period's dates (on an empty future period, paid plans) plans that period ahead of time.
Writing early never gives you extra articles: each one counts once toward its billing period.
On the free trial
The trial writes 1 article. After that, unwritten articles show “Upgrade to write” and the write buttons are grey with the reason. Planning ahead and auto-publish come with a paid plan. See plans.
