Framer (beta)

Connect a Framer project with its link and an API key, choose a Blog collection, map fields, and what publishing does in Framer.

Framer publishing is in beta. RankHabit writes each article into a CMS collection in your Framer project, then publishes the site.

Connect

  • Article settings → Publishing → Connect → Framer.
  • Paste your project link (it looks like framer.com/projects/Blog--a8Kd2).
  • Paste an API key from Framer: Site Settings → General → API key.
  • Choose Create a new Blog collection for me, or Use a collection I already have (only collections you made; ones a plugin manages can't take posts).
  • Press Connect Framer, then Test connection: it saves a draft item and deletes it a minute later.

A new Blog collection gets Title, Body, Meta description, Cover image, Published date and a RankHabit ID field, so updates find their post.

Then, once in Framer

Add a CMS page for the list and one for the article, drop the Body field into the article page, and click Publish. We can't make pages or layouts for you.

Good to know

  • Publishing pushes your whole Framer project, so unfinished edits go live too.
  • Map fields in Article settings → CMS fields. Title and Body are required; articles won't publish until they're set.
  • Framer sets the slug once when a post is made, and we never change it.
