RankHabit vs SEObot. Which one fits how you work?

Both plan, write and publish SEO articles for your site. They differ in who decides what goes live, how facts are checked, and which AI answers they watch.

SEObot is John Rush's tool, and it's been around longer than RankHabit. I'm Shaig, the solo founder of RankHabit. Every SEObot fact here comes from SEObot's site or help center.

Pick RankHabit if

  • You want every article to wait for your OK before it goes live.
  • You want to know if ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews name you.
  • You want to try one article free before you pay.

Pick SEObot if

  • You publish to Ghost, HubSpot, Shopify or Notion.
  • You want an API and webhooks to build on.
  • You want it to run on autopilot from day one.

The short version

Both start at $49 a month. SEObot's price list gives you 9 articles for that. RankHabit gives you 15. SEObot runs on autopilot by default, supports a lot more platforms, has an API, and scales up to 300 articles a month.

RankHabit waits for your OK by default and tracks whether AI answers name you. Both say they check facts, so I've tried to describe each one precisely.

Side by side. Facts from each company's own site.

SEObot facts from seobotai.com and its help center's pricing, auto-publish, Search Console and Link Hub articles, checked Oct 27, 2026. Where SEObot is better

  • Platforms and integrations. Ghost, HubSpot, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Notion and more, plus an API and Zapier and Make. If you want to wire it into your own stack, SEObot gives you more to work with.
  • Volume. Plans go up to 300 articles a month. RankHabit's plans include up to 30.
  • Extras. Backlinks, turning YouTube videos into articles, news articles and programmatic SEO. RankHabit does none of those.
  • Languages. SEObot lists 50.
  • Hands-off by design. If you really want to set it and forget it, SEObot's default suits you better than mine.

Where RankHabit is better

  • More articles at $49. 15 versus 9, based on SEObot's published price list.
  • Approval first. On SEObot you can review articles, but it runs on autopilot unless you change that. On RankHabit nothing goes live until you say so, unless you choose otherwise.
  • You see the checks. Both tools say they check facts. On RankHabit the sentences with prices, numbers, dates or competitor claims are listed above the article, so you can see exactly what was checked and where the source is. I can't tell from SEObot's site how much of its checking you get to see.
  • AI visibility. RankHabit tracks whether ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews (and Perplexity on Growth and Agency) name you. SEObot's site doesn't mention tracking this.
  • Lovable. RankHabit has a ready prompt for Lovable sites. Lovable isn't on SEObot's list, though its webhooks or API could probably get you there with some work.

Verdict

Pick SEObot if you want lots of output, more platforms, an API, or extras like backlinks and YouTube to article. It's a mature tool built for autopilot.

Pick RankHabit if you want more articles at the $49 price point, prefer approving each one, and want to know whether AI tools mention you.

Questions, answered.

  • They start at the same price, $49 a month. RankHabit's includes 15 articles; SEObot's help center listed 9 for $49 in September 2025, and its full plan list shows after you sign up.

  • Yes. Turn off Auto-publish in SEObot and new articles are saved as drafts in your CMS.

  • Its site says it has an "anti typo hallucination and fact checking system, with citation of sources."

  • I didn't find one. It offers a full refund on the $49 plan if you're not satisfied after the first article.

  • Only if you turn on Auto-publish, on a paid plan. Until then every article waits for your review, and an article you approve goes out on its day.

  • Yes. Add your site and RankHabit reads it first, so it doesn't plan articles your pages already cover. Your first article is free, so you can compare before you cancel anything.

Add your site and get a month of articles you can rank for. Your first article is free.

No card needed. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
