Plans and billing
What each plan includes, how upgrades and downgrades work, cancelling, invoices and cards in the Stripe portal, yearly billing and extra sites.
Settings → Billing shows your plan, what you've used and every plan side by side. Prices are in US dollars. See pricing.

Every article can be regenerated 2 times for free on every plan. The free trial has no time limit and needs no card: it ends when its article is used.
Upgrading
Pick a plan in Settings → Billing (or any Upgrade button). Your first plan is paid on Stripe's checkout page, where promotion codes are accepted. Later changes happen in Stripe's billing portal.
An upgrade applies at once and you're charged the difference for the rest of the period. The current billing period is topped up with the extra articles, spread over its days left. They wait for Approve plan, like any new plan.
Downgrading and cancelling
A downgrade waits for the end of the billing period: you keep your current plan and its articles until it renews onto the new one.
Cancelling also takes effect at the end of the period. Billing shows “Cancels on” and the date. After that your workspace goes back to the free trial's limits, and auto-publish is switched off, so new articles wait for review.
If a payment doesn't go through, you keep your plan while Stripe retries. Update your card in Manage billing.
Invoices, card and plan changes
Manage billing (Settings → Billing, workspace owner) opens Stripe's billing portal: update your card, download invoices, change your plan or cancel.
Yearly billing
Yearly plans cost 10 months for 12 (“Save 2 months”): Starter $490, Growth $990, Agency $2,490 a year. Articles still reset every month from the day your year started. When yearly prices are available, the Monthly / Annual switch shows on Billing.
Extra sites on Agency
Agency includes 15 sites. On monthly Agency, add more for $19 a month each from Add a site; the part of this month is on your next invoice. Yearly Agency can't carry monthly extra sites: switch to monthly billing, or email contact@rankhabit.com.
